Anita’s passion is working with children that are medically fragile. She has 14 years of evperience in the child development field and up to seven years of work experience as a Developmental Therapist. She has her certification as an infant Toddler and Family Specialist with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Azucena Santana is a registered nurse (RN) who obtained her degree at the University of Mexico City, working for approximately twelve years with experience with premature children and intensive care in pediatrics. She holds the NC Infant, Toddler & Family Specialist certification and has nine years of experience with children with special needs in the Hispanic community. Azucena also has five years of working in the area of early intervention. She has experience and knowledge about children with genetic disorders, including behavioral problems, autism, communication (promoting sign language) and motor delays (fine and gross motor), social interaction, down syndrome, and sensory integration. She has always worked very close to the parents, providing them with information, as well as resources in the community that help them to improve their child's development and family integration.

For the past 17 years, Enoc has dedicated his career to teaching young children. He is happily married to his high school sweetheart and is the father of two awesome teenage daughters, ages 14 and 16. Enoc has his Infant Toddler Certification from the state of North Carolina and his permanent teaching license as well. He has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and credits towards his second Master’s in Administration from Bank Street College which is one of the best schools of education in the United States.
Enoc was born in New York to two immigrant parents from South America. He was taught at an early age that hard work and education were the keys to getting ahead. He understands the challenges of growing up not understanding the language or culture. Enoc is a native Spanish speaker. He did not go to school to learn Spanish, he was raised speaking Spanish.
Enoc’s first teaching experience was at The Washington Market School, which is one of the best Montessori schools in the country. He taught the children of famous actors, artists and CEO’s of major companies in the U.S. In 1996 at The Washington Market School, Enoc had his first student diagnosed with ADHD. Since then Enoc has gone on to work with children who have Autism, ADHD, ADD, language delays, Down Syndrome, children born premature, vision & hearing impaired students as well as children with social and emotional issues. He has helped his student’s families through issues of divorce, the death of a parent, the death of a child, sexual abuse, domestic violence and addictions to drugs and alcohol as well as many other challenging situations. The majority of the children Enoc has worked with as a Developmental Therapist have made such incredible progress that they have not needed any additional services once they reach three years of age. Enoc believes in helping families grow closer, grow wiser and in helping parents better understand how to help their children grow and develop to their fullest potential.

Enoc tiene su Certificación de Infantes y Niños del estado de Carolina del Norte y su licencia permanente de enseñanza también. Tiene una Maestría en Administración Pública, una Licenciatura en Educación Infantil y créditos hacia su segunda Maestría en Administración de Bank Street College, una de las mejores escuelas de educación en los Estados Unidos.
Enoc nació en Nueva York a dos padres inmigrantes procedentes de América del Sur. Se le enseñó a una edad temprana que el esfuerzo en el trabajo y la educación son las claves para salir adelante en la vida. Él entiende los desafíos de crecer en una comunidad desatendida sin poder entender el idioma o la cultura. Enoc es un hablante nativo de español. Él no fue a la escuela para aprender español, lo criaron hablando español. Su padre tuvo que luchar para el no ser puesto en una clase bilingüe, sino en una clase inglesa, aun cuando todavía no hablaba inglés.
La primera experiencia en la enseñanza para Enoc fue en la escuela Washington Market, unas de las mejores escuelas Montessori en el país. Él enseñó a los hijos de actores famosos, artistas y directores ejecutivos de las principales empresas en los EE.UU. En 1996 en la escuela de Washington Market, Enoc tuvo su primer estudiante diagnosticado con TDAH. Desde entonces Enoc ha ido a trabajar con niños que tienen autismo, TDAH, retrasos del lenguaje, síndrome de Down, los niños nacidos prematuros, estudiantes con discapacidad visual y audición, así como los niños con dificultades emocionales y sociales.
